INDEFI – International Delegates on Filtration The first World Filtration Congress, held in 1974, was informally coordinated by a number of individual organizations, each acting independently. In 1990, INDEFI (International Delegates on Filtration) was created as an umbrella body to coordinate and widen the competition to organize future Congresses. The next World Filtration Congress WFC11 will be staged April 16-20, 2012 in Graz, Austria.Proposals to host a future WFC Congress are accepted only from registered Members of INDEFI and the applying organization must provide evidence that the organizing team has the experience and resources to stage a major world conference. Membership of INDEFI is open to Filtration Societies that have the science and technology of filtration and separation as their principal activity. Only one member is permitted per country.
